Sunday 4th January
We are heading back to Church Preen for our third visit and the reason is simple. The site has delivered twice already and has shown enough promise to bring us straight back. The first visit produced ten hammered coins.

Talley Dig historical events relating to the village of Talley in Carmarthenshire:
Talley’s location at the “head of the lakes” (Talyllychau) hints at ancient origins, with pollen evidence showing woodland clearance c. 3000 years ago and later Iron-Age and Roman period activity in the surrounding area.
